This fabulous ring boasts a shimmering central cultured Opal surrounded by Paste stones in a lovely gallery.

Set in 18ct Gold on Silver.

Cultured Opals are a kaleidoscope of rainbow colours, shimmering and changing colours with the light. The Opal Radiates a myriad of colours - blues, pinks, greens, turquoise and an inner orange.

Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones because it has relatively high indices of refraction and strong dispersion, The Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured - glass pastes.

This ring is made in the Victorian style, and boasts lovely workmanship.
